Make sure that the driver installed for your flatbed scanner. Without these drivers, the team will not be able to speak to the scanner to "language.

Also make sure you have the power to the scanner.
PS Thanks for the information on your computer! It is much easier to answer if you know which operating system is running and use the scanner.
Do you have another USB device? CP May seniors have problems with power ports. If there are too many traction devices mA, while others are not. Broadband modems that are also perpetrators.
