I do not have GERD and heartburn.
But before I ulcers Nexium (I was on antibiotics for 5 months). I have a lot of acid and bring cups of acid.
Two years later, the ulcers have healed and I'm still on Nexium and I am heartburn.
I do not see why not.
Heartburn is when acid irritates the esophagus. You may recall normal or mucus is extremely sensitive.
a mirror and look at your teeth. Refux acid causes the teeth erode from within.
Also, you burp and taste of vinegar?
not necessary to have both. I have acid reflux, but almost never have heartburn.
